  • Overview

    The Sales Development Manager, will lead Michigan CAT's sales efforts, develop team depth and serve as a product liaison with Caterpillar. This position is responsible for providing strategic support to overcome obstacles, find solutions and deliver results to maximize customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability and market share.


    • Provides coaching, mentorship and sales talent development.
    • Proven track record of a developer of people.
    • Delivers timely constructive feedback resulting in optimum results.
    • Develop short/long term pricing strategies, forecasts, budgets, and marketing plans as necessary.
    • Analyzes past performance, sales opportunities, strengths and weaknesses to maintain relevant go to market strategies. 
    • Maintains a team approach to achieving results by helping others and doing what is best for our customers and our enterprise.
    • Must leverage specific area of responsibility to ensure profitably growth for the entire enterprise.




    • Associate degree required in Management, Finance or Marketing; and/or equivalent experience
    • 10 Years Sales/Sales Management experience


    • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Finance, Marketing; or equivalent experience
    • 8+ Years in Sales/Sales Mangement experience
