  • Overview


    The Senior HR Business Leader position is responsible for being a strategic partner with senior leadership by promoting, communicating, and implementing business strategies and initiatives for the assigned business units. The position understands the business of the assigned unit including its financial position, strategic plans, culture and competition. The Sr. HR Business Leader is an employee advocate in addition to providing guidance on HR policies such as benefits, compensation, employee development, and recruiting.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provides strategical guidance to management (workforce planning, succession planning, compensation planning, talent management planning, and etc.)
    • Facilities HR projects and initiatives
    • Manages and/or guides the resolutions of all employee relations issues in assigned business unit
    • Consults on employee disciplinary action processes (performance improvement plans, performance discussions, and review/support of potential termination proceedings)
    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of HR legal requirements, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed
    • Provides HR training and coaching to management (performance management, career development, business restructures, workforce planning, and etc.)
    • Participates in recruiting and selection process for open positions. Provides guidance on compensation packages for new hires, promotions and transfers
    • Consults with all leaders, providing guidance when appropriate



    • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field (Human Resources, Business Management, Finance, etc)
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources
    • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resource leadership experience
    • A valid driver’s license




    • Master’s Degree in business related field (Business Management, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
    • 10 years or more of experience in Human Resources
    • 5 years or more of Human Resource leadership experience
    • 2 years or more of labor relations experience
    • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential
